Nin-Giz-Zida

Nin-Giz-Zida is another symbol from Tibet and represents the sleeping serpent coiled at the base of the spine: the Kundalini Energy. Each of its six curves corresponds to a main chakra (the spiral corresponds to the root chakra). Kathleen Milner calls it Fire Dragon (or Fire Dragon). Nin-Giz-Zida is also known as Serpent of Fire.

Nin-Giz-Zida has many applications. Its Energy can be used to remove blockages, to align the seven major chakras, or
eliminate back pain, but not only… This symbol can also be used in healing or meditation for greater balance and receptivity.
The Serpent of Fire is drawn or visualized with the horizontal line over the head and the undulation descending, aligning the chakras and spiraling around the root chakra. The Fire Serpent aligns the chakras while preparing the central channel or sushumna for the flow of Kundalini fire.
Drawing or visualizing the symbol starting in a spiral at the base of the spine and rising to the crown chakra can raise the Kundalini Energy. It is an exercise that must be carried out in moderation, respecting the rhythm and awakening of each one.

Nin-Giz-Zida Meditation

Sit or lie down comfortably. Close your eyes and breathe naturally. Chant the mantra of the symbol with each inhalation and exhalation. When you begin to feel an internal heat, visualize Nin-Giz-Zida Energy rising and falling along your central channels – sushumna, ida and pingala – and continue chanting the mantra. Feel and visualize the Energy rising with each in-breath and falling with each out-breath, allowing for random, undulating movements. Hold this breath as long as you like.
